I guess this should have really gone out during “flu season”; but better late than never. According to my good friend, Dr. Mitchell, when we get the common cold, flu or even allergies for that matter, it is a sign that our immune system “lacks the latest software upgrade”. In other words, it is a sign that we are lacking some essential enzymes and minerals in our diet. Certainly, there are other factors which contribute to sickness, such as lack of sleep, dairy and meat consumption, but most of us can easily prevent sickness through the foods we consume.
Below is Dr. Mitchell’s famous recipe to kick-start your immunity. It sounds bad, but it actually tastes good! No more yucky tasting cough syrup, which only masks your symptoms! Simply mix a portion of this concentrate with water; either flat or carbonated (I prefer carbonated myself). Mix as much you want in a glass for taste. I recommend a quarter cup per per glass; taken 2-3 times per day at least 15 minutes before meals.
For the honey, you will need to use raw honey, NOT the fake honey that can be bought in most grocery stores. Click HERE for a list of places were you can buy raw honey in Ontario. It is more expensive than the fake stuff (obviously), but the enzymes found in it help to heal and replenish the body. Honey should never be heated above room temperature or else it will lose it’s enzymic properties. Believe it or not, raw honey can also be used to close wounds!
Anyway, if taken as directed, this recipe will surely give your immunity the boost that it needs. And maybe this year you may even be allergy-free! Cheers to your health!
