“Thankfully, perseverance is a good substitute for talent.”

~ Steve Martin

I was talking with my friend, who is a casting agent, about the business and how to be successful and one thing that he said really struck me, “Success in this business is not about agents, looks, timing or even talent. It’s about your ability to stay committed and persevere through all the rejection.”

I’ve been in the business for a very long time and this really hit home. My advice, stay creative because you love it, or because you find the people around you are interesting or you find it wonderfully challenging… but stick with it, it does pay off.

We’ve created our own blog where you can go and look for castings. We get calls almost everyday, so subscribe and check in often to freedomschoolofthearts.wordpress.com

If you have a casting you’d like to post send all the details to info@freedomschoolofthearts.com
